Grow For Kids

Beginning to Grow in Faith

We understand the importance of teaching the faith right from the start and desire to provide our kids with a strong foundation built on the Bible.

We want kids to have the opportunity to learn about the saving work of Jesus in a safe environment. Our kids’ classes study Bible stories and use creative experiences to grow in faith and knowledge of our loving God.

What should you expect on Sunday Morning? Once you enter the Sanctuary doors, head down the hallway to the check-in table where you will be greeted by one of our volunteers. Check your child in, and you will receive a barcode sticker, which you will need when you pick up your child at the end of class. During class, your child will be taken care of by our caring teachers.

Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Church Nursery: 2 yrs-PreK

Parents, are you looking for special opportunities to spend with your child but don’t have the time or resources? We host family activities for you and your child to have fun, memorable experiences together. Check out the calendar to find our next activity.

We send busy parents a quarterly packet filled with easy-to-use resources for you to encourage your kids to develop a thriving faith at home. The Grow at Home packets include devotional materials, dinner conversation cards, ideas for family traditions, and so much more.

In early June at Monumental, kids explored the sunbaked Southwestern desert as they dug into God’s great love!

Kids participated in memorable, Bible-learning activities, sang catchy songs, played teamwork-building games, made and devoured yummy treats, experienced one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collected Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and tested out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they took home to play with all summer long. Plus, kids learned to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concluded with a Canyon Closing that got everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Join us again next year to build strong friendships and learn about Jesus along the way!
