On Wednesday, October 8th, a second Wednesday of the month rather than the usual first, the Saints Alive will visit the US Space & Rocket Center (USRRC) to tour the Aviation Challenge camp site. Aviation Challenge is the USRRC’s second most popular camp, and it houses an impressive collection of vintage fighters, bombers, helicopters, and a couple of surprises. We will meet at the ticket office in the main museum at 10:00 AM. The cost of the tour is $10, but there is no charge if you have a membership or a pass. The tour will take about 60-90 minutes, There is some walking, but most of it is on flat ground. The Grace bus will leave the Gibson’s parking lot at 9:30 AM for those who would like a ride. We have a 12:00 PM reservation at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Ed Fulda is the coordinator of this trip. Sign up on the easel in the narthex. Please indicate if you are joining us for lunch by putting “L” after your name.
