On February 18th the Saints Alive will take a tour of Wicks Family Field. It is a 6,000 seat multi-use sports and entertainment venue. Originally it was simply Joe W. Davis Stadium and was home of the Huntsville Stars minor league baseball team. After a major renovation, it is now a modern soccer-specific stadium which serves as the
home of Huntsville City Football Club. The cost of the tour is $10 to be paid at the stadium. Please sign up in the narthex if you are interested in joining this event.
We do not have access to either of the buses for this trip. Therefore, we will all meet at the stadium at 10:00 AM or meet at the Gibson’s parking lot and carpool. When you sign up, please indicate if you are interested in carpooling.
Since the stadium is part of a larger mixed-use development called Stadium Commons, we will continue the theme with lunch at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. People may either walk to the restaurant or drive either alone or in carpools. Karen Ager is the coordinator of this trip.
