As we read and hear news reports about the tragic and destructive wildfire that caused so much devastation in Maui, Hawaii, we are also moved and inspired by the mercy and compassion shown by many who have donated support or served to care for the people who are in need of help. The people of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School in Maui were significantly impacted by this disaster and Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) have immediately responded. LCC coordinates with over 50 L.E.R.T. teams throughout the U.S. to provide support at times of disaster. We are collecting funds to send to LCC in support of the ministry they are carrying out in Maui.
