SUMMARY:Saints Alive Trip to Huntsville Botanical Garden
DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will tour the Huntsville Botanical Garden on Wednesday\, May 3. From grassy meadows to woodland paths and aquatic habitats to stunning floral collections\, the Garden invites guests of all ages to discover the beauty and wonder of the natural environment. The admission fee for Seniors is normally $15 per person\, but if you are a Huntsville Botanical Garden member\, you will get in for free with your membership card\, and if you aren’t a member\, we will have guest passes to share so no one should have to pay the admission fee. A cart will be available for those with difficulty walking. The bus will leave Grace at 9:45 am\, and lunch will follow the tour at the Garden Restaurant in the Huntsville Botanical Garden. \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex or contact Gene Menzel. Please note if you plan to ride the cart during the tour.

DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will tour the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology campus on Thursday\, May 18. The bus will leave Grace at 9:40 am for a 10:00 am – 11:30 am walking tour. The tour will be of the flagship building and the new greenhouse. Please note there are many steps\, but they do have elevators and places to sit in case anyone needs to take a break for any part of the tour. Lunch will follow the tour at the Atrium Café at HudsonAlpha. \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex or contact Gene Menzel. Please sign up before Monday\, May 15\, so we can provide the names of the participants to HudsonAlpha.

SUMMARY:Faith Night at Toyota Field
DESCRIPTION:Grace Lutheran will host a fellowship night on Tuesday\, May 23\, at the Rocket City Trash Pandas game. \nIt is Faith Night at Toyota Field\, game time is 6:35 pm\, and the Trash Pandas will be playing the Chattanooga Lookouts. Grace has reserved a concourse suite that can accommodate up to 35 people. Food will be available for 1 hour before game time and available for another 1 1/2 hours once the game starts. The menu includes hot dogs\, hamburgers\, cole slaw\, baked beans\, seasonal fruit\, tortilla chips\, and assorted cookies and brownies. Pepsi products and water will also be included. The regular price is $54.50 per person\, but it has been discounted to $40.00 per person. This is a night open to members and friends of Grace Lutheran\, and it is a good opportunity to get to know others!
