SUMMARY:Saints Alive Trip to Constitution Village
DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will visit Constitution Village in Huntsville on Wednesday\, March 1. The Alabama Constitution Hall Park is a historical open-air museum that demonstrates life in 1819. The eight buildings include a blacksmith shop\, law office\, print shop\, land surveyor’s office\, post office\, cabinetmaker’s shop\, and residence. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on October 31\, 1975. On July 5\, 1819\, in the vacant cabinet shop\, forty-four delegates came together for the Constitution Convention to inaugurate Alabama as the twenty-second state. We will delve into Huntsville’s and Alabama’s early history and participate in some demonstrations to learn about how people in Huntsville lived during that era. \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex or send an email to Gene Menzel.

DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will have Melissa Kirkindall present on monarch butterflies on Wednesday\, March 15\, in the Choir Room at 10:00 am. She is a member of the Madison Garden Club\, Master Gardeners of North Alabama\, Huntsville Botanical Garden\, Alabama Nature Conservancy\, and The Land Trust of Huntsville and North Alabama. Her yard is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat and is a Monarch Butterfly Waystation. She is also a Master Gardener. Melissa says\, “What we are going to talk about is a biological miracle. No other butterflies migrate like the monarch.” \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex.

SUMMARY:Saints Alive Trip to Hubert Family Farms
DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will visit Hubert Family Farms in New Market on Wednesday\, March 29. Hubert Family Farms has fields of tulips to enjoy right here in North Alabama. We will travel to see the many varieties of tulips and hear the owner tell his tulip story. The cost of the tulip farm is $8 per person; the cost will be reduced to $5 per person if we have a group of at least 20 people. Tulips are available for purchase at $2.50 each. The bus will leave Grace at 9:30 am\, and lunch at LaFuente Mexican Restaurant in Meridianville will follow the tulip farm visit. \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex or contact Donna Behnken.
