SUMMARY:Saints Alive Presentation by Herb Lewis
DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will be treated to a special on-campus presentation by Herb Lewis\, a retired engineer and avid birder\, on Wednesday\, June 19\, at 10:00 am. Herb Lewis has focused his personal hobbies of landscaping\, birding\, and photography into creating a natural wildlife habitat within his own backyard garden\, enabling him to see many birds up close and personal. Herb is always observant of birds in any context. In his quest to read the Bible in its entirety\, he was surprised how often birds were referenced. His presentation will provide visual examples of Biblical text with birds\, and he will provide other bird-related facts from his experiences. \nThe presentation will be in the Flex Space (upstairs) area in the Family Life Center. Lunch will follow at City Café Diner on Drake Avenue. \nThe sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the church narthex or you can contact Gene Menzel.
