Weekend Worship Services
God’s people have chosen to worship Him many different ways through the centuries. In Scripture, we see examples of worship in music, obedience, remembrance, service, and giving. On this page, you will discover how we at Grace offer worship to our loving Heavenly Father. We invite you to find one that is right for you and join us this Sunday! (Childcare is always provided.)
Offering three different worship formats and classes for all ages, Grace Lutheran Church is following the scriptural mandate of Acts 2:42 and providing different avenues for our diverse congregation to meet together in doctrine, fellowship, communion, and prayer.
Grace offers three types of worship services to meet the needs of our diverse congregation. We invite you to find the one that’s right for your family and join us this Sunday.
- Blended Worship: A less liturgically formatted variety of hymns and praise songs; we use this style of worship at the 8:00 a.m. service on the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month.
- Traditional Worship: A liturgical-based style from our Lutheran Hymnals; we use this style at the 8:00 a.m. service on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month.
- Praise and Worship: A more contemporary style of worship; we use guitars, keyboards, drums, and violin to offer worship to God during the 10:45 a.m. service each Sunday.
We believe that, in grace, God personally comes to us in the Lord’s Supper to assure us of our forgiveness and strengthen our faith. As a result, we offer Communion every Sunday according to the following schedule:
- 1st and 3rd Sundays
- 8:00 a.m. service
- 2nd and 4th Sundays
- 10:45 a.m. service
- 5th Sunday
- both services
Grace offers many different types of Bible studies to help you grow in your faith and relationship with one another. We group our studies by age, with meetings held throughout the week. We offer Sunday School classes between services every Sunday for toddler through adult age groups. Please see our Connect pages for more information.
This weekly class is dedicated to those new to our church, new to the faith, and desiring membership in our church. This class is generally led by the pastor or a lay leader during the Sunday Bible study times. These classes run about 12 weeks, so we seek to offer at least three of these classes each year. Participants learn about Christianity, the Lutheran Church, and about Grace Lutheran as a congregation. For further information, contact the church office or send an email to email@example.com.
