The primary mission of the church is to make disciples! As Christians go – traveling through daily life be ready to engage in the opportunities that come before you to offer a word of witness and hope. Outreach really begins with readiness to listen to the story of the person we meet and to share how God has worked in our lives. We seek to be authentic and real in our witness – pointing others to Jesus who had won salvation for all believers in His atoning work. Salvation is a gift of God and this is the Good News. We respond to God by seeking to grow in Him by offering our life through service and witness. God accepts us as we are! He is there to offer power and hope in our daily life.
Grace Lutheran offers opportunities to reach out to others through:
- Guest services at worship (greeters, welcome center hosts, follow-up, etc.)
- Through care and service activities for members and the community (Be the Church, etc.)
- Through offering classes such as Discovering Grace, connection groups, small groups, and Bible classes.
As we seek to grow in being passionate servants, be ready to think of how we can partner with the community in seeing lives transformed for Jesus.

Connection groups are a means of "building bridges" to connect with others (unchurched or de-churched) in your neighborhood or our community. It’s about building a group around a similar interest (hobby, craft, fun activity, sport, or just about anything else under the sun). The goal is to help see persons become connected to Christ, the church, and the community. Dream the possibilities and then explore the opportunity to set up a group that meets at least on a bi-weekly basis.
