SUMMARY:New Season of Bell Choir Begins
DESCRIPTION:The Grace Lutheran Bell Choir will resume rehearsals on Thursday\, September 10th. New members are welcome. Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The choir tries to play for worship once a month at the 8:00 AM Sunday Service. No musical experience or expertise necessary. The goal is to enhance worship and play the bells to the glory of God. DESCRIPTION:Our God is an awesome God! He reigns from heaven above! Jen Roettjer will lead the women in a Bible study looking at how amazing our God is and the impact that has on our lives. Spread throughout the day\, we will also take time to enjoy several relaxation activities. Join us on Saturday\, September 12th at the Redstone Arsenal (Building 3711\, next to the MWR Activities Field). Check-in begins at 8:30 AM with a light breakfast bar. The retreat will run from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Cost is $20 and includes lunch. Register here by September 5th. \n

SUMMARY:Saints Alive Trip to Nearest Green Distillery & Bell Buckle Cafe
DESCRIPTION:The Saints Alive will travel to Shelbyville\, TN to visit the Nearest Green Distillery and Bell Buckle Café. The distillery is located on a sprawling 458-acre Tennessee Walking Horse Farm. We will have the opportunity to participate in an optional tasting at the distillery. During the tasting time there is an opportunity to visit the gift shops and look at Nearest Green Distillery artifacts and awards. There is a rocking chair porch with picnic tables\, cornhole\, and Jenga to keep us entertained. After visiting the distillery\, we will travel to Bell Buckle\, TN\, which is a quaint\, historic railroad town founded in 1852 and is famous for well-preserved Victorian architecture\, antique shops\, specialty gift shops\, and Southern hospitality. We will eat at Bell Buckle Café. The bus\nwill leave the Gibson’s parking lot at 8:45 AM. Kathryn Kervin is coordinating this trip. \nSee the sign-up in the narthex. \n
