Use of Church and School Facilities / Scheduling Events

Requests from within our church by a group or individual:

  1. Calendar is checked and if available the event is "penciled" in.
  2. Cross check with other activities that may be effected
  3. Contact with group requesting with yes/no
  4. If yes, the event is placed on the calendar

Non-religious requests from outside our church:

  1. Calendar is checked and if available the event is "penciled" in
  2. Event is brought to the church staff either as information or for approval
  3. Contact with group requesting with yes/no
  4. If yes, event is placed on the calendar

Non-religious requests from outside our church that may involve, but not limited to, rental fee, long term use, large amount of space, etc. :

  1. Calendar is checked and if available the event is "penciled" in
  2. Event is brought to the church staff for approval (Event brought to the Council if advised by the staff)
  3. Contact with group requesting with yes/no
  4. If yes, event is placed on the calendar

Publication deadlines:

  1. Grace Notes - the 3rd Monday of each Month by noon
  2. "This and That" - every Wednesday by noon.
  3. School Parent Communication - every Tuesday by 3:00
