In desiring to better meet the needs of families within our church and school, we are establishing an auxiliary organization of Grace Lutheran Church which would coordinate already existing ministries within the church (e.g. Parish Nursing, Stephen Ministry, and Helping Hands).

Our desire is to establish teams of members who are willing to serve others during a crisis time in their lives by doing such things as:

• Preparing, providing, and delivering meals
• House cleaning or laundry
• Minor carpentry, electrical, or plumbing home repairs
• Minor emergency car repairs
• Short term yard work
• Emergency sitting with children, disabled, or elderly
• Transportation to doctor, church, or social events
• Errands for groceries or medications
• Praying for people
• Hospital or home visits by Stephen ministers or parish nurses

The leadership team who has worked to develop this is made up of Judy Burhans, Becky Heffelfinger, Dexter McClure, Marilyn Renfro, Mary Jane Reumann, Susan Sadler, and Judy Zecher.
