GIFT News (August 2010): Are you ready to get back into the swing of things? I hope so! GIFT will be kicking off the new year with a “meet and greet” and orientation on August 18th starting at 6:30pm. Refreshements will be plentiful, so come join us! Then, we’ll have our first lesson on August 25th starting at the normal time of 6pm. This year we are using Faith Inkubators newest theme set “Songs of Israel” where the Psalms are intertwined with the parables of Jesus. It’s going to be a great year full of family fun, learning, and sharing. Please bring your family on August 18th.

GIFT is for families with children 5th grade and younger. During the school year, we gather on Wednesday evenings to hear Bible Stories, learn key Scriptures using songs and sign language, and create art to share.We use the Bible Song curriculum from Faith Inkubators (www.faithink.com). It’s a wonderful, fun way to spend time with your family, learn, and have fun all at the same time! Your children will love it and you will too! So, come join us on Wednesdays 6—7:30 PM ! Kids Praise Team: We are really looking forward to getting started again with some new music and hopefully some new music makers too! Remember, practices are now included in the Wednesday night GIFT sessions starting at 6PM, so our first practice will be on August 25th.

Kids Praise Team is for children 5th grade and younger who want to learn to sing and play instruments. We do praise songs, Bible songs, and other fun music. The kids perform periodically for the congregation. It really is A LOT of fun! Practice is Wednesday evenings during GIFT, which starts at 6PM.
