Volunteers Needed!
- HELPING HEARTS - We need you! We're looking for people who can help perform various services at Grace. Forms are available in the church office and can be turned in at the office, given to an usher or placed in the offering plate at any service. If you have any questions, please see Judy Zecher, Becky Heffelfinger, Susan Sadler, or Judy Burhans. (Nov. 2005)
- MEALS: To provide Grace families suffering from medical or other emergencies with meals. If you would like to be on the volunteer list, please contact the LOG Missions Chair, Rebecca Armstrong to help.
- MEET AND GREET OPPORTUNITIES: To provide snacks for the weekly Sunday 'Meet and Greet' time. You'll need to provide three dozen of your favorite snack. Sign up on the Thrivent Bulletin Board (at the end of the music/library hall in the main building) or talk to Carol Childs, Kleone Nelson, or Sheila Sierk.
- NURSERY: To staff the nursery during the services and Bible Study. Please contact Rosanne Fleckner if you would be interested in helping.
- READING PALS: Make the difference in the life of a child, volunteer to be a Reading Buddy at Ridgecrest Elementary! You will be helping a child with their reading skills for 30 minutes to an hour a week. Contact Susan Sadler for more information.
- THRIVENT: To be a Thrivent Congregational Coordinator. Grace's Thrivent group is really in need for someone to step up and help Carol Childs with some of the responsibility. Thrivent at Grace has always been a very important service group, so consider donating some of your time to help with its leadership. Contact Frank or Carol Childs if interested.
- TUTORING: Reading tutors are needed to help Ridgecrest Elementary students in grades 2 - 5. If you can help out, the commitment would be about 30 minutes to an hour a week. Please contact Susan Sadler if you can help out!
- VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL / SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT Prayerfully consider Vacation Bible School positions and the Sunday School Superintendent(s) positions that will open next summer. We need to fill these positions ASAP. (Jan. 19, 2006)
