- Join Grace's ALS Team Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is sponsoring Grace's Team to defeat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. The Walk to Defeat ALS will be held on September 13th at the Alabama A&M stadium. Go online now and register at http://web.alsa.org. We will be competing with other Lutheran church teams. Our goal is $2,000, be we must do better to win. Youth gropus will be highly active in this project. The Smoked Offerings Team will be providing BBQ for all participants. A special team shirt will be available for Grace walkers. (July 27, 2008)

- Concerts in the Park: The Anniversary Task Force invites you, your family, and friends to meet at Big Spring Park for the weekly concerts which are held on Monday nights at 6:30 pm. It's free, fun, and lots of fellowship! Look for the "Grace" sign. We'll start gathering around 5:45ish. Bring picnic food (if you wish), some chairs, and an appetite for great fellowship with each other. (June 08, 2008)
- 50th Anniversary Bricks: Support Grace Lutheran's 50th Anniversary Celebration with the purchase of a brick on the commemorative walkway. Bricks may be in honor of, or in memory of someone special or for a particular occasion. See the 50th Anniversary Bricks page for more information. (May 28, 2008)
- Meet and Greet Goodies: Joyce Larder is putting together a schedule of Meet and Greet snack makers. She will be asking you to make or buy 4 dozen of your favorite snacks to share during the Sunday Fellowship time. Please contact her and let her know what Sunday(s) fit into your busy schedule. - Nursery Volunteers Needed! Adopt a child for a couple of hours on Sunday morning! We are in need of people to help out in the nursery during worship services and the Sunday School/Bible Class hours. If you would like to sign up, please see Cathy Day. (April 15, 2007)
- GO Buttons: Grace Outreach (GO) buttons show that you are 'Making a Difference.' You can find the buttons either in the Narthex or on the Welcome table. Get yours, wear it, and let it lead into discussion about the outreach Grace Lutheran Church and School are doing! (Jan. 7, 2007)
- Totally Awesome Grace is offering LARGE PRINT devotional booklets by month for anyone interested. Quarterly devotions available in regular print. Call the Church Office, Judy Burhans, or any of the authors of the devotions for more information. (April 9, 2006)
- Mommy's Time Out - Grace Lutheran Church offers a "Mommy's Time Out" program from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, one to four days a week, for children age 6 months through 4 years. Openings are limited. For details, please contact Christy Drensek. (March 19, 2006)

School
- Maximize your Donations to the School: Thrivent members can have their donations to Grace Lutheran School matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans through the Giving Plus® program. This is an excellent way to help the school out and get the most out of your donations!
Community
- Food Pantry - Please bring any food items, boxed and/or canned, and place them in the baskets in the halls the first Sunday of every month. Items are taken to St. Mark's for distribution. Monetary donations are also accepted.
- Used Eyeglass Donations - Please take used eyeglasses to the church and drop them in the box labeled LOG Eyeglass Donations located on the hall table at the side entrance to the sanctuary. The eyeglasses will go to people here and around the world who would otherwise never have an opportunity to receive vision correction. (Nov. 2005)
