Altar Guild
Many people work "behind the scenes" to enhance your Sunday morning worship experience. The Altar Guild is dedicated to the duty of making sure the elements of Holy Communion are reverently and appropriately laid out for you to partake. They fill the candles with oil, change the paraments on the alter, dust and make sure the alter linens are clean, and polish the collection plates. When it is needed, they prepare the baptismal font. It is truly an honor to prepare both of the sacraments by which His people receive God's grace.
Typically, a team will meet in the sanctuary on Saturday and work together to prepare for Sunday morning's worship service. In December, the Altar Guild joyfully decorates the sanctuary for Christmas, including the trees. The old saying "many hands make light work" applies here! Additional members are always welcome - men, women, husband/wife teams - all can serve the lord with gladness!
