Bethel is an overview study of the Old and New Testaments that ties together the concepts, people, events, and time line of the Bible, and gives an excellent basis of understanding for many other Bible studies. We generally teach the 20 sessions of the Old Testament beginning in September, taking time out for the holidays, and ending some time in the Spring. The 20 sessions of the New Testament follow the same pattern during the following year. The class is usually taught on a weekday morning or evening and involves reading portions of Scripture during the week, so that by the end of the Series you will have read most of the Bible.
